Little Eats 小吃 x Banh Mi Daddy

Banh mi sandwich

This "substantial snack" bar features a rotating variety of Asian treats. Popular among Chinese communities throughout the world, little eats or xiao chi are hearty snacks that can be eaten as nibbles between meals or as meals themselves.

Banh Mi Daddy

The latest iteration comes from our friends at Tea and Milk, an Astoria-based bubble tea cafe with a location in Pearl River Mart Foods. Vietnamese for "bread," banh mi began as a Vietnamese take on French baguette sandwiches, and now is its own delicious phenomenon. Tea and Milk's banh mi are extra special: the recipes come from the father of Tea and Milk manager, Jennifer Nguyen.
